It's been awhile...

Where do I begin? So much has happened since my last blog posting. In that time we have had a National Fine Arts Winner named from the Girls Club, had an awesome summer fine arts program, and have created over 70 pieces of art for our upcoming Fine Arts Show. PLUS, we are going to be visited by one of our military pen pals and a few members from her unit. VERY EXCITING!!! It has been an awesome year. I am very close to my two-year anniversary working at the Raleigh Girls Club. And this upcoming art show, in my opinion, reflects the amount of hard work the girls have done in that time. The RGC Girls are sending their LAST packages to two of their pen pals. They are coming home soon! If your club would like to add to our packages, please contact Ms. Kristin at kristinannhackett@hotmail.com . We are accepting donations of hygiene items and hard candy.
